International shipping
I have a friend in Poland and I want to send her a care package.
I just looked up UPS shipping cost based on an estimated weight/value and it costs over $240! To ship a 5lb package who's contents are only valued at $25.
Wtf? This can't be right?
Did I do something wrong in the information or this a generally accepted price?

Well I was wanting to send food from Buffalo. I doubt one could buy Sahlen's and Niagara sponge candy in Gdynia.

this is approximately what it costs everywhere. i used to send stuff to serbia, but in serbia mail is not even tracked, so not everything i sent made it.

I buy cigarettes for a friend from Israel. I get free shipping on 32$ cartons of camels. Can't be that much. Takes 15-20 days for snail. EMS is otherwise the best way to go
