Saying you dislike anime is like saying you dislike movies because theres so many pornos out there. Some anime is ripe with ethics and philosophy, and that's a lot of what I'm in to as far as the genre goes.

i enjoyed tekkin kinkreet very much, story is ok the uniqueness of the artwork and uniqueness of the style is what made it stand out to me

Whats really said is that they are planning on making a live action american remake of akira....I know for a fact they will just destroy it. For example...they wanted zack efrron to play fucking kaneda...omg...fucki n zack effron as some tough street kid who is a member of a biker gang amd kills other rival gang members no questions asked!?!?
....yeah...some how i dont see it
