i have a new resident in the tobacco..right beside the rosemary sits this little frog!

side note to all gardeners: if you get bit by horse flies, mosquitos ....rub on a garlic bud to instantly stop the itch!!

if the itch is too serious...you will definetly want my PILES Recipe...used for poison ivy, chicken pox...

1 tsp of all of the following

peroxide (20 volume)
iodine
lysol
epsom salt
soda

add 1/2 cup of water...make fresh batches 3 times a day!

p.s. ASG, is that a turtle in the garden?

green beans
onions
2 kinds of potatoes
corn
sweet potatoes
yellow squash
butternut squash
cucumbers
okra
bell peppers
6 kinds of hot peppers
cantalope
2 kinds of watermelon
giant sunflower
oregano
thyme
strawberries
blueberries
sage
lemon balm
sweet marjoram
green peas
blackberries

Just dug up about 20 pounds of potatoes yesterday, yum! vidalia onions and some other sweet onions, maybe 5 pounds, cucumbers about every day....I got about 10 pounds of green peas and lots of strawberries!! I LOVE summer garden season!

The garden pic is from late spring, the other 2 are from yesterday.

Ok guys we are getting close to that time again!!! I know its a little early, but before we know it the last frost will have come and gone! I don't know if its the lack of snow this winter or what but I am itching to get out and play in the dirt! This week I am going to place my order for my seeds. Hudson Valley Seed Library. So what is everyone's plans?

I know I will cut done on the radishes this year, Holy gosh I had to have 300+ radishes. I also had an abundance of greens (kale, Mustard, Chard etc) so this year I want to focus on, my tomatoes (which did fairly well last year), peppers and Peas! I still have a few living stalks of kale! I have started clearing out my spare bedroom so I can seed in there. Last year I directed sowed. I didn't move into my house till April last year so I was a little behind! I might be moving again this year... but we will see!

I'm just hoping my cutleaf/japanese maple survived the winter, I shocked the shit out of it when I moved it.

Hopefully I will get to grow my own garden when I move out with my buddies, not sure what I will be growing in it, but I will definately have some different types of Salvia in it, they all smell o good!

Well im growing mushrooms, T. Bridgesii, poppies, tobacco, and HBWR. Still too cold to do anything now tho (except the mushrooms, they are already started)

Kale, carrots, tomatoes, beats, bell peppers, green onion, radishes, potatoes, and a few others will be in my dad's garden this year tho, can't wait
