Kipp Rusty Walker stabs himself to death on stage at open mic event | Mail Online
A troubled 19-year-old stabbed himself to death on stage at an open mic night after playing a song called Sorry For All the Mess. Kipp Rusty Walker repeatedly plunged the six-inch blade into his chest as the audience clapped and cheered in the mistaken belief it was piece of performance art. But when he collapsed in a pool of his own blood they started screaming in horror and rushed to help him, but his wounds were too severe and he died soon after. One of Walker’s friends claimed that he had been planning to kill himself in a public place for some time. The friend said: ‘It was almost like he wanted to prove a point, like there's no point in being scared of death because it's going to happen to us anyway,’ He added that Walker told him he first wanted to kill himself on March 20, so he told his parents who took him to the psychiatric unit at St Charles Medical Centre in Bend. Walker, described as a transient, was released a few days later. The friend added that there was nothing he could do to help Walker. 'I actually told him, I was like, "Dude, this is going to mess a lot of people up",' the friend said. What a performance! Its like that girl who made spaghettios come out of her vagina! Is this an "only in america" piece? what do u guys think. Are u surprised he had balls to actually stab himself and not use a gun to end it instantly? Should he have at least done this for the encore and warmed up w/ some self-mutilation of some kind? Would u have responded to your friend saying he was going to kill himself at an open mic with "Dude, this is going to mess a lot of people up.?" Are there any more inappropriate questions related to this story u can think of?

That's pretty fucked up, although I would definately watch it. What a totally badass way to kill yourself.

I think it would have been hilarious if it was crap and the reason he did it was because no one liked his song
the article just says they were clapping to be nice, but i think they literally bood him to death

The song name leads me to believe he wanted to be morbidly ironic

I don't know about you guys, but getting the drunken courage to sing Bohemian Rhapsody in front of a crowded bar was a defining moment in my youth.

When I was that age, I wanted to kill myself in front of people who had hurt me, to teach them a lesson.

It's not always about how good you sing!
That said, I butchered it as well.

i want the power to be able to send someone to death for their karaoke performance
not that every performance deserves it but when they do they definitely do

He actually found someone who was willing, another man. The killer cut off the man's penis, cooked it, and they both ate it while the man bled to death. read it in maxim at least. I'd believe it, Germans are fucking crazy.
