I don't always smoke weed, but when I want to - I have a fucking random lurking around the corner.

Plus they've been known to random people a week later on some "just checkin" type shit.

This invasion of my privacy shit is just annoying. I could go smoke crack, shoot some dope drop some tabs and do all kinds of funky drugs.

But I can't smoke some fucking weed on the weekend, on the chance that it lingers in my system longer than 48 hrs.

mafoo i think he means he has a randon drug test coming up and weed stays in your system for a long time

but harder drugs don't stay in your system for as long

so he can smoke crack shoot dope pop pills and it wouldn't be a big deal but god forbid he smokes a joint because then he'll be screwed

I used to show up to work at the docks stone sober every day, work my full shift and go home, settle in and then smoke my joint and ponder the loss of my job if I were to be asked to piss in a cup.

Meanwhile, the rest of the guys were two beers in when they show up, have another 40 for lunch and then go home to enjoy a six pack and some carne asada worry free.

All because InsureCorp wants a 'drug free' workplace.

Understand first and foremost it isn't an issue of legality or permission, this has nothing to do with any kind of rights, it has everything to do with economics.

Impaired people are liabilities and you'll be charged more to insure them because they might be impaired.

Well most companies drug test because it's cheaper on their insurance. And some job types obviously are government regulated. If you think drug tests are about anything but money, you're wrong. Very few businesses actually give a shit about a drug-free workplace. They just want lower premiums, and the insurance companies use it as an easy way to not have to pay out medical expenses. It's all money homies.
