When I was traveling and would ask for help people usually referred to me and my Wife and Engleski or Angalo, pronounced Ongaloo.... when passing us down the ticket counter or something like that....

Once people knew where we were from, if the conversation made it that far and we passed names, of course there was a difference in where we were from, but to the person on the street who we had a language barrier with we were English or English speaker essentially.

So I just wanted to check if you meant country or language.

I was American when I went everywhere. Painfully.

Still had an amazing time and met some lovely people.
What'd you give it, 3 days? Doesn't seem like an honest shake

It was a combination of things, I just got off my meds, I had been smoking weed everyday before I went, it was my first time traveling, the people I worked for didn't like me, they didn't pay me like they said, I left my girlfriend at home, the beds were rock hard and the pillow non existant, the showers were cold, the weather was humid so you sweat as soon as you walk outside, it's 3 euros for a can of soda. all these things add up to make a shit experience.

In Serbia, when asked 'where we were traveling from?' we said Canada, because it's true, however when we gave her out passports, at the hostel to copy, she wasn't all that thrilled and made some comments to us about it.

The prized relic in the National Museum was a piece of the only Stealth Bomber EVER shot down, and it was by Serbia in the Civil War in the early 90s, which might have set a tone for me, but rather, I can't really say that there was any problems with us being there by any means either. Just sorta made me

for a second.

People in Bosnia were stoked and firstly were surprised that we knew where Bosnia was and secondly that we'd come to that part of the world to vacation and travel. For me, it was one of the highlights of our trip, being in Bosnia.

i never really met anyone who didn't like canadians. anywhere. even in places that we dropped bombs on 10 years ago. i am probably more ashamed of canada as it is now than anyone outside of canada anyway.

Lol, I met a few Canadians there but I thought they were American before they told me, seemed friendly enough, Japan doesnt interest me as much anymore not sure why. I used to want to go there so bad..
