yea man 2 sucks, like I said earlier, I can't believe the entire season went that direction. 3 picks up though just like season 1 and it stays good through out the series, you really need to pick it back up.

Do you say this after honestly watching the entire series? Might be the first time I've ever heard anything negative about the show after seeing numerous threads on numerous forums about the show.

oh and just finished season 1 tonight, re-watching the series for the first time.. Think im gonna skip straight ahead to 3 though, don't feel like watching the fucking docks.

Geeno: I know what you mean. I hated watching Season 5, knowing it was the end of the best show I had ever seen on t.v. However, I thive on watching it On Demand every time it runs. In 2010, I bought the Companion Book, The Wire: Truth be Told. It was a second printing and had new comments from David Simon, which had been obtained in July of 2009, more than year after the series finale aired.

The book is simply outstanding and will fill-in-the-blaks for those who have difficulty following the story lines. I can't say enough good things about the book. It's worth the cost, if you love The Wire. Now that the show is over, it's something you can have and hold in its place. Likewise, I'm going to take the plunge and buy the entire series on DVD. When the show was running, the wanted something like $100 per season. Now, it's much more economical.

And do you know why, Terry/? It's because the Muthafuckin Wire is real and continues taking place in urban sectors across America. Believe it!
