China will be the top nation in 2100. Throughout most of history China has always is top nation. Just because the last 200 years we've had a series of different top nations doesn’t mean that things will stay that way. In the normal state of things the world has been regulated by Chinese initiative. Over the whole course of the last 3,000 years the dominant initiatives in technology, in the dissemination of ideas, in the influencing and shaping of the rest of the world have tended to come from China. That’s just the normal state of the world. It's almost certain that China will reassert itself in the next century. You can already see the signs of that happening. China has begun to sort out the problems that have vexed it over the last 200 years, problems of a bad government and a backward economy. The sleeping giant is re-awakening.

Yeah, but if the mission had failed, I'll bet you'd be quick to assign him the blame.

how many countries have lost their leading position and come back from middle of the pack to lead the world again? almost none? egyptians, mayans, greeks, romans, spanish, british, russian, german, persian empires havent heard much from them lately.
faulty logic saying that osama didnt fly the planes himmself but he still gets the blame too. the people who did fly them were vaporized instantly regardless of what theory on 9/11 u believe in. but someone still had to take the blame out of the pool of ppl who were involved and still alive.
