crazy shit. i dont know how to feel. a part of me thinks this guy is a dick for giving drugs to his child....on the other hand, he appears to have opening up a brand new path for treatment and healing that might have never been discovered otherwise...

After reading the acticle I don't see how what this man did was wrong at all. The main argument against it I took from the piece was that it could have caused paranoia which when compared to the way his son must have felt and the fact he was not putting his sons life in anymore danger that it was to begin with is trivial. I mean he could have told his doctors who then could have contacted child services and had his son taken away. I hope that those who doubt or discredit the healing properties of cannabis can see that if it can help someone so young, that it is safe for the many adults in this country who are denied it everyday and suffer with illness because of it.

Good for that Dad. He wasn't dosing the kid enough to get him high, but just enough to ease the nausea and encourage eating. He did what the doctors, with all their naysaying, were unable to do. Sounds like he saved his kid's life.
