Reality exists because my thoughts exist. I cannot prove what I experience as "real", but the things I think and feel ARE real. As far as I can prove they are the only thing. All else is suspect.

Existence doesn't require proof. It is self-evident.

But what of the state which allows you to see thoughts occurring? That is, the awareness that observes your mind running and does not see the thoughts themselves as your identity. Does this exist outside of thought, or is it merely a separate thought narrative?

As far as an all encompassing answer being necessary... I suppose that depends on one's level of humility within the plane of existence
