I hope the judge doesn't cite me for contempt. No one has said a thing about me being on line yet, other than the juror next to me with a bad case of iPad envy.

We're just going through selection at this point. The judge has informed us that the case is expected to go over a week. I do not want to do this.

A lot of preparation has gone into today. I have not shaved for two days, and I'm dressed shabbily.

I do believe in the jury system, it's just that I'd rather be at work.

Why dont you just do the responsible thing and be a responsible juror. You could be the person who keeps an innocent person from being punished in a crime. Everyone complains about our government. Here is you chance to make it better and you'd rather fuck off.

The last time it was a 50 yo daughter accused of battery against her 80 yo mom. This time it was a weapons case involving the police.
