We edited in final cut pro, including the grade (though if we had the time id have liked to have used colour) The titles were done in Motion.
The stock was Telecined at the lab, so they developed the film we gave them, and they handed it back to us on a hard drive, and gave us the origional negatives. im not exactly sure how they do the telecine process, sometimes they scan the negative, other times they project it onto a surface that captures the images. I wanted to sit in on the telecine to make sure the grade went ok at the lab, but they wouldnt let me, plus it was on an overnight batch, and i hadnt slept in 2 days. ah well, maybe next time. tomorrow i find out if i get to DP a final major project for at my course. i think im definitely going to shoot 16mm again, unless i get attatched to a documentary. giggidy
