Drug raids are bad. M'kay?

So as some of you may have read a while back, two medijuana dispensaries in town were aggressively raided by our boys in blue.

Wow, just fuckin' wow...

Well it seems I'm not the only one who is a little miffed at the action that went down

Whittier police tactics in medical marijuana raids questioned - Whittier Daily News

I live literally a few blocks from GHC, the one that suffered the most heavy-handedness that day, the other one was in a slightly more affluent neighborhood, the police entered there through a door the owner unlocked for them. Not sure if that means anything yet, still rolling it over in my head, but I digress.

The strangest part is that the Whittier P.D. who also patrols the city of Santa Fe Springs under contract, (Santa Fe Springs has at least a dozen dispensaries, some of which are located on a street that is Whittier on one side and Santa Fe Springs on the other) has not strong armed one of the non-permitted dispensaries out of business there like they did the two in town here. Building inspectors and fines work better than any raid could it seems in their eyes.

The city of Pico Rivera which also borders the city of Whittier and is patrolled by the L.A.S.D., who aren't typically known for their compassion and caring in the first place, take a differing approach as well. They allow no dispensaries so they send a building inspector, a lawyer and a very real threat to your financial well being. So far their success rate in closing illegal dispensaries is the same as Whittier P.D.'s 100% except it probably didn't cost nearly as much to close at least a dozen or so. Three month investigations to find out what everyone in the neighborhood knows can be pretty pricey.

It all seems a crazy complicated world. The dispensary biz I mean.

Really man, shit is just starting up here in AZ and people seem to be nervous in not knowing how big of a risk it could be to open a dispensary, especially here where it just BARELY passed.

The domain names are going for big cash right now though!
