been to court once a month for like a year now, today was (hopefully) my last court date. as much as it sucked i can tell you it would have been worse without a lawyer

Today's drug laws reflect a callous, unthinking aspect of humanity that I do not respect. There's no will toward good there, just toward control, and cultural supremacy. What you were subjected to was unjust.

Myself, I would rather flaunt it than hide it, because I feel no shame in smoking weed. However, I tend to keep my smoking behind my front door, because of the nature of society. I know quite a few people who've been through what you are now facing, but none of them got there doing it at home.

Just saying.

Thanks for the vent space Yahooka - it's really calmed me down.

Also I forgot to mention, during this whole ordeal a witness watched within 20-30 feet or so. Bless that little guy. He probably had MS or something, and was confined to a power wheelchair and had quite some difficulty communicating. You could tell he was frustrated that the police would arrest me. He stuck around the whole time trying to plea with the officers. Bless that little guy - I really hope that I run into him again. He sincerely helped to keep my faith in humanity alive during this whole thing.
