MEC Tarn 3 Tent - Mountain Equipment Co-op. Free Shipping Available
Had a good guy at MEC set up 4 tents so i could lay down in them/feel them out. This one was by far the roomiest (longest) for a guy whos 6'6" and was also the cheapest. A bit heavier then its competitors, but a fairly reasonable price ($219.00 CDN). A good friend of mine has the smaller version (tarn 2) since 2006 and he swears by it. (I bought the tent - the other items were presents) Heading out in the woods for a week starting Monday (little hippy fest) - really really looking forward to it now that I wont be in some shitty department store tent like last year.
