I've been with my girlfriend for over a year now and it's the first serious relationship i've had, i've learnt so much just from being with her and we've had so many experiences and memories together it really makes your life feel more fulfilled when you're with someone you love..

But then I forget we're just humans, I found messeges on her facebook today that she sent about 3 months ago to a guy friend pretty bad. It's this that brings me to ask is it worth the gamble of putting your feelings on the line to have the chance to increase your happiness?

Or is it better to live a life of solitude and simply use the other gender for our sexual desires/needs? I'm sure it's easy to live a pretty content life that way isnt it?

I think if the potential for a great relationship is there then you should certainly pursue it. That being said you must always remember that some women are slutty and they may end up fooling around behind your back. Instead of getting too caught up in thoughts of marriage and forever, just enjoy the now and have as much fun as you can while you know things are good.

I've always questioned vows of marriage, its like how can you have the audacity to make a decision you're supposed to honor and live with for the rest of your life. People change, if not over 5 years then 10, if not 10 then 20. How can you ever think you know yourself and your mate for all time? No one can, divorce is rampant these days, maybe because marriage itself isn't a good idea. If you love someone, why not just leave it at that, live together do your thang, contracts are unnecessary.
