Tornados

So the other night, we had some bad weather. Nothing unusual about that.

BUT...

We had this small, narrow band of a storm system move through. It spawned 5 tornados in the city.

At my house, I was wondering wtf was going on. Sirens were going off. But looking outside, we were having a light rain, a small breeze was blowing, and the sky was the usual color for 8pm, on a rainy evening.

HOWEVER, at that very moment...

A tornado was touching down about 10 blocks from my house!!! No shit.

Google: 5 horse barns damaged in tornado Churchill Downs
that would be the one I'm talking about.

This is NOT the kind of tornado weather I'm used to.

So, any of y'all have any tales of how strange Mother Nature can be?

When I was living with my parents we had horses. Horses shit..A LOT! So we had a manure pile about 6ft long by 4ft wide One summer we had a line of bad storms come through and lightening struck the shit pile and poof. That shit was on fire, literally.

Speaking of nature, what's up with all the flooding this year?

i live in Nashville so tornado's are not unusual around here. i haven't seen one myself yet in person but they touch down in the surrounding counties quite a lot around here. nasty stuff, i love to smoke and watch it storm. its peaceful like almost.

I'm doing well. Son will be getting married next summer.

I should be able to retire in about 3 years.

Yes, YaHooka is evolving, and growing. Server upgrade has made things run alot faster.
Fewer mods, mostly because the community tends to balance itself more.
More forums . There is still a wide range of stoners, with wide ranging interests and opinions, and that keeps the place real.
