mmm peaches
i noticed today that the peaches on the tree in front of my house today were turning orange/redish. i touched one, soft and supple. i twist the best looking one off and bite into it, its delicious, and i get all excited and start eating it really fast. half way done i look at the pit and its covered in worms! then i induced gagging.
i looked at all the peaches on my tree and they have little holes in them where the worms burrowed in, fucking worms

thats so disappointing, sorry man.
all the fruit on my orange trees gets eaten by racoons. those little guys can eat the entire inner part of the orange without tearing the skin off the tree. its weird to go out back and see all these empty orange peels hanging from the trees

I can't speak for the squirrel but I hate when people watch me eat.

cool man, u got any pics?
i have some peach , pear and apple trees in my backyard and every year they look awesome for a while and then just get destroyed by various bugs and animals. some times ive tried to control the pests but it just doesnt seem to work very well... bug "dust" works for a few days, but you ahve to apply it every 5 days all summer for it to work well.. and u need a shitload of the dust to cover the whole tree.... gives u some appreciation of why farmers have to use pesticides...growing shit seems easy, just like going for walks in nature sounds awesome...until you get there and you get fuckin attacked and destroyed by bugs of all kinds. by the way this thread made me listen to the presidents of the usa song .soo good looks. ALSO- did you people know if you add the world repeat to a youtube vid it automatically repeats over and over? like plays the vid but YouTube Repeat! plays it over and over again ... thats a nice fucking feature i never knew about so ill bet some of u didnt either! |
