pic doesn't work for me either, but it does show up for a few seconds while the page is loading and then disappears. If you hit the stop button you can see it.
Something up with hooka I think.

What skin are you using? I'm in 'evolved' and it works, I can see the pics. EDIT: It also works in V1, but the smilies don't and that issue has been reported.
