You're right, man. I've been recently reading the classics (right now I'm on "The Red Badge of Courage", a civil war novel that has to be one of the most beautiful written works on the subject of war that I've ever encountered), and my ability to appreciate them is much greater with the perspective of age. What blows me away, though, is that a lot of these great works were written by young people, who really shouldn't have this kind of insight into life, yet.
