seeing the fox news twitter get hacked on the 4th was great as well. they tweeted that Obama had been assassinated to 32,000 followers who were all ecstatic. lol jk. i tweeted some of the angry ones saying "no, unfortunately it was just a hack."

Twitter is useful for people who demand minute to minute updates on celebrity life, company and corporate announcements (and shaming) in realtime, and for those stuck in third world revolutions with only a smartphone for help. It sounds like you're using it as an alternative to some backwards current events forum.

Anon and Lulz Sec aren't the same thing. The reason LS were counter hacked and shamed by other hacking groups, is that they did nothing but steal credit information, and ultimately fucked more people over than any good they did.
