as if infomercials weren't bad enough, now we have advertisements written to look like editorials...adverto rials.

I figure if someone has to trick me to get me to buy what they're selling, what they're selling must, by default, not be worth the money. Of course, since everything is sold with a certain degree of deception (beer really isn't about sex OR coolness, for example; in fact, it's ironically more inclined to accompany their absence), I can't do as I really would please, and boycott all companies whose ads and other marketing methods offend me.
