Any home brewers here?

Any of ya'll brew your own beer? I have been for a few years, not the most basic, I use the Mr. Beer stuff, but it sure is good.
Just bottled up 33 16oz. bottles Saturday. A High country Canadian draft with pale ale unhopped malt, and a Doppel Bock with honey....2 gallons of each. Gotta let it carbonate til this coming Sat., and then it's in the fridge to lager for a week or two....can't wait. I might have to try a bottle of each this coming weekend.

I got 3 cases (36) of these Grolsche type bottles with porcelain stoppers, there pretty cool and easy to use, better than capping them all.

What's the quality like?

My friend started brewing beer. He's quite sketchy on details, I was worried at first but 90% of his beer turns out of high quality. I always look at it carefully in the glass.

In a high school science class, we made test tube stills out of lab equipment. Our class had perfect attendance and we all got A's that term.

distilling is actually not easy without some real equipment.

It actually wasn't easy. Most of the classes 'shine turned bad.

I have for the last few years. For the lazy guy, the kits and sanitizers they make now make the process really easy. Check YouTube.

I've been wanting to try making hard iced tea, because my SO really likes them. I've got some ideas, just haven't given them a try.
