That's more or less how arranged marriages worked. That system served us well for thousands of years. I don't know why it isn't still common.

What this thread takes for granted, but the message is obvious, is that pretty much every man would WANT to hit that. He likely wants other things MORE, like a good relationship with his friend, etc. so he doesn't act on his wants.
