Fucked up stuff your relatives have done.

What are some fucked up things, or stories that involve members of your immediate or extended family. I don't have a huge amount of crazy stories of my own, but there are definitely some crazy folk in my family, and I'm sure that most if not all of you do as well.

Two cousins
One Elk hunting sized rifle
One Video camera

One sights the deer for a head shot.
One hold camera and whistles.
When the deer looks, Nick shoots it in the face, while Joe holds steady with the film.

"We had to look all over the place for a horn to probe it was a legal kill!!!"

They announced after showing the video and then again in slo-mo at family Christmas gather.

Perhaps not 'fucked up' but certainly a disturbing hobby.

well my grandfather on my dad's side killed his father *my great grandfather* who happened to be in a wheel chair at the time. Beat him to death in a drunken rage i guess.

My dad refuses to talk about it as does his whole side of the family. My mom told me this disturbing fact only about 4 or 5 years ago.

Fucked up shit

In slow motion it was like the deer was taking off it's skin and skull like a coat.

Damn.... the only thing I'll give em is that is was a clean shot and the deer didn't suffer beyond wondering what the fuck just whistled at it!

My parents adopted a dog then decided it was too much trouble so they drove off into the woods and abandoned it there.

after my grandpa died, during a routine background check on someone in my family, it was discovered that my gpa had a criminal record in canada. him being gone at the time of this discovery, nobody alive (including his wife) has any idea what it was for. he was in the air force, worked in a coal mine and was the sheriff of a small manitoba town until his retirement.

so whatever he did, it wasn't enough to keep him from being a sheriff, but it was enough to cause problems for a family member who was trying to get a volunteer position. no matter what it was, nobody will ever know. thats kind of fucked up i guess.

Does canada not keep records?

You can buy a background search online for like 50 bucks.

maybe your grandfather was Canadian Intelligence (lol oxymoron), and it is classified.

That's one of the most messed up things I've ever heard. I don't know what I'm more ashamed of: the fact that I belong to the same species as those two guys, or that I laughed when first read it.

Damn this fucked up sense of humor!!!

We can't turn the TV on at family gatherings because grandpa takes to loudly asking if the person on the TV is a Jew and says things like "goddamned nigger" when Obama shows up on the news. Generally he makes everyone uncomfortable but the younger kids think his outbursts are hilarious.

I mentioned this on another thread, but by uncle recently stabbed someone to death, stabbing them 15 times.

He claimed it was in self defense

Not sure if a verdict has been reached on that but I'm gonna find out.

you can't get background checks online in canada, you have to go to a police station. you also can't get them for anyone other than yourself. the information concerning what his criminal record was for is definitely not available. it was actually probably not even legal for them to tell us which family member it concerned, but since he wasn't around they made an exception.

Wtf you can be denied a job for something a relative did? Was it an intelligence job at least he got denied for? I'd hate to think that I'd lose out on a job at the zoo or something cuz one of my ancestors broke some law...

ya you absolutely can be denied a sensitive job if there is unsavouriness in your background check. it was my mom and she got the job anyway.
