But I've never fought anyone or took a swing...

i say no, not unless the woman is larger than you or is really going to damage you.

as males we are stronger per pound, were supposed to be able to control ourselves so we dont damage other people.

I don't think it's okay to hit her just because she hit you, but I also wouldn't go as far as saying it's NEVER okay. If you think hitting her is your only option to protect yourself from serious harm, then yes.

I think it's important to remember that if she's an average chick, you're stronger than her. So really, you're a huge pussy if you feel threatened enough to have to knock the shit out of her. In a situation where a female is going completely apeshit, throwing punches and getting in your face, a good shove to get away from her should be substantial.

That kind of thought compounds the theme that it's okay for women to use fear and violence when they become irrational, but men cannot because they are stronger. It's a bad argument and doesn't make a whole lot of sense because the idea that it's only okay to hit someone that you are physically matched to and the idea that it's not okay for a man to hit a woman are two different things.

If a woman goes apeshit and punches me in the face I would do the same thing to her as I would do to a man and punch her right the fuck back. Women share the same responsibility as men do not to loose it like that.
