... high or low sensitivity for your mouse in games?

Personally I prefer a lower setting, it gives me more control I feel. It felt really awkward moving so much of my hand. After getting used to it I really started to notice that I found it easier to aim.

Thoughts?

I play consoles. Usually FPS games.

I like my sensitivity as low as it will go with inverted Y axis.

I don't know about pro, but my K/D in Halo is 1.6 overall. The average is like 1.25, so I'm way ahead of that.

2.1 in my main playlist.

It's been shown time and time again that in a battle between PC players vs console players of relatively equal skill, the PC will always win because of the more responsive controls.


Anyway, I use a high sensitivity, high dpi mouse for gaming. That way you get the fast response time without the loss of accuracy.

low sens don but its really just depending on the player. I've seen some pretty good cs/css players use high sens but its rare.

A controller is much better than keyboard and mouse. They actually make the game fun as opposed making it feel like work.

I've noticed that the higher the sens, the more I strain my wrist. It's just more relaxing with a little arm action.. That's my experience.

That's the biggest advantage PC gaming has over console gaming, it's just not as strenuous in the long run. after a good session with a joypad, my thumbs can get pretty busted.

Don't get me wrong, I've played loads and loads on console. I just prefer pc gaming now because i'm getting older.

also fuck everything about voice comms over a console. That shit is so wack, and streets behind the glorious pc comms.

I use a logitec wireless pretty basic but it's solid.

i have every console and a PC and imo the PC is SUPERIOR when it comes to accuracy and if you have 4k to spend you'll also have better graphics.

with that said I prefer my PS3 over my 360, better graphics and better joystick.

yes i get some graphics lag once in awhile but the PS3 is running much more detailed graphics when my 360's graphics are more nintendo like.

only thing 360 has is the dashboard, it's quite interactive. however now that i have Vudu and Hulu and Netflix PLUS Blu ray player plus all the other shit?
