i wish i played sc2 but i'm way behind the learning curve with RTS as in I don't believe I've ever played one at least in the last several years, which means 10+

i dont see how people can be so bad

i played with a horrible IRL friend of mine in a 2v2 , and we played against some real retards, i could probably 1v2 these people. my IRL friend had zero offensive units 9 minutes into the game, and at the 10 minute mark, out pops 3! mutalisks

if you follow two simple rules, you should easily hit platinum.

1. always be building workers
2. spend your fucking money

that's all there is to it. you don't need to 'micro' or any shit like that. follow these rules and just drag select your army and send them off to attack and forget. just by virtue of having a shit ton of units you'll smash the mouth breathing gold leagures.

2v2 strategies are the best. you just do a double timing attack (any one really) on one player and then you win! so easy

Strategy wise I think I have gotten better simply by being faster. Find a build that works, stick to it and memorize it, spice it up as needed and as said above always spend your money, get mad dronez, avoid queing a shitload of guys cuz that just means you're wasting time and hoarding minerals and need more offensive buildings to be a threat. Push when you're ready to expand, hotkeys are absolutely clutch, if a push works set a waypoint from your barracks to the last guy in the attacking army to keep up reinforcements, remember to keep building units as some people stop and forget to in the heat of the battle.

Last and not least, always offer a good luck have fun at the beginning and a gg after even if you lose, it's nice to be nice
