Post Name your biggest pet, mines not Peave

Peoples negative facial expressions conveying a dislike towards someones thoughts, opinions, or beliefs - before letting that person finish the thought; all while simply focusing all they brain power into not decoding incoming information, but rather thinking of what they want to say next (relevant or not to the subject), instead of listening and processing a devils advocate point-of-view for a ms and then coming up with a reasonable debatable response.

This is pretty profound, man. It's a natural reaction, I don't think anyone does this on purpose. In fact I think most people sense this natural reaction quickly and it only makes it that much more obvious when they try to hold it back. I catch myself having a fidgety reaction to things people say quite often and to alieviate it I think it's best to acknowledge it rather than fight it, IMO. But I don't find it annoying when other people do it, I just find it all a bit awkward.

Mexicans! Especially older Mexicans have this habit of forcing guilt upon me for even the uttermost reasonable of actions they take. For example some nice mexican man might be in line ahead of me and then when he turns to walk away he just faces me every so breifly and then he might smile and say "Sorry!". I'm always like wtf now you've made me feel as if I solicited an apology from you. Weird.

yea i do agree with what you are saying merc

pretty hard to not have instinctive facial movements

but when you can tell someone isnt listening really pisses me off especially when they confirm it by speaking the second you stop, and their response is half-ass

When standing waiting at a busy bar and the barman goes to serve someone who was there after you and they get their drinks instead of telling the barman that you were there first.
This really winds me up.

Actually just rude people in general, people not thanking you if you hold a door for them or whatever.

People who say they feel sorry for you as an insult. "Wow, if that's how you feel, then I really feel sorry for you, man."

Defensiveness, too. Fuck.

People that stand in the way of progress. For any reason.

None of your personal bullshit is important enough for us to stop moving forward.

People like that are what makes work suck so much. You can tell them why their idea (or whatever) isn't going to work, or needs to be adjusted, and they just argue and argue. Under bad management, people like this can grind an operation to a virtual halt.
