ign gave it a 9, not that I give a fuck about what ign says, however they did mention it takes 25-40 hours your 1st time through.

fucking amazing for a FPS game these days.

The problem is more the lack of cracks.. The download is 1.5 hours for me.

Bought it. Playing thru first stages. Some quick notes:

Annoyed that you can't move when NPCs are walking you places. In the original I would amuse myself by trying to throw trash cans in their way to mess with their pathfinding, or build box forts around them when they were standing still.

Lots more cinematics though that's not a bad thing per se it does take away from the immersion a bit.

Combat is phenomenal, taking aspects of cover based shooting mechanics but making it blend seamlessly without turning the game into room after room of chest high wall battles.

Overall great so far I will keep you posted.

Wanted to get it for PC. Good thing I pirated first to test the performance because it ran like shit on my laptop... SO I just picked it up for PS3 and just did the opening scene and explored the 1st room. Kid's over today so I won't get into it til tomorrow but damn, I LOVE HOW BOB PAGE'S VOICE IS THE SAME!
