Battle for the California Desert: Why is Government Pushing People Off Their Land?
What a bunch of filthy pieces of shit...
Speculative as to why they are doing it but it would seem to me that if your only neighbor is ten miles away and his next neighbor is another ten, then the bullshit excuse of 'complaints of violations by unnamed neighbors' should be fairly easy to repudiate. So what's the real rub? Off the grid means no way to collect revenue? Seems the consensus is if you join up you can stay, IF you do it our way. Man I been through the Antelope Valley on many, many occasions. If these folks want to live out there like that then fuckin' aye more power to 'em. I couldn't do it, if they can and choose to, leave 'em be.
