Can I hook up a Paki with a Persian?

I work for a Persian, sort of. Anyway, our old IT/alarm/CCTV guy is Pakistani and since I try not to keep up on all that cultural warfare bullshit I'm not sure who likes who over there. I like both the guys and would hate to think I would insult someone by hooking them up.

They're both very westernized capitalist pigs. I know if the world were different they'd be great friends.

Pakistanis and Persians don't have much to quarrel about. But if either is religious even a bit it could be a problem, as Iran is Shia and Pakistan is mostly Sunni.

I just realized I posted that they were both shia, I meant to say Pakistan is mostly Sunni.

But like I said this is only and issue if one of them is REALLY religious. Shouldn't be a problem if they're westernized like you said.
