Are you a worry wart?

So on a forum packed with potheads, I know there must be quite a few paranoid stoners out there

Are you the kind of person that worries alot? Maybe you worry about the basic survival stuff (bills, job, health, blah blah) or maybe you're even the kind of person that tends to worry about things that probably wont even happen. Or are you the happy go lucky type that takes life day to day without the stress or the worry?

Me? I'm a worrier

I'd like to answer, but I'm kinda worried about what everyone will think, and that worries me, because I don't want to be hung up on what other people think of me.

^ i like this guy

also

I think about shit a lot so i guess some of that thinking could be called worrying.

More of a nervous curiousness about whats gonna happen, than being scared or worried.

i ALWAYS drive as if a cop was behind me, so that's kind of worrying i guess. You have to drive like that living in a jersey suburb though. Too many cops with too little to do.

Idk i worry, but i calmly worry and still use logic.

i used to have a real anxiety problem. serious, quit jobs over it anxiety. made myself a prisoner of it for a long time. still get the odd twitch of panic and nausea rising in the guts, but i'm better able to just ride out whatever stressful situations I'm dealing with much easier now.

I just don't care about it anymore. it's really a pleasure to just be a simpleton, not always be having to plan for ifs and buts. it's a choice, at the heart of it, to get worked up over something. and there's not a fuck of a lot i control-but how much i let myself worry about a given thing is totally up to me.

on the other hand, if you're referring to planning for eventualities that are likely or desired, then no, I worry about that shit constantly. if you're not, you're off your game i think.

I quit worrying so much when it affected my health. For me worrying = stress = high blood pressure = kidney disease. I've lost 65% of my kidney function from it.

I try to keep things in the 'healthy concern' range nowadays. If I'm feeling too over the top, I smoke more and put on loud music and dance. That's my form of meditation. I try to think things through. If it's something I can do something about, I do it. If it's not something I can do something about, I let it flow off me. Easier said than done though.

Mothernature, I want to offer you a kidney if you need it. My husband will wonder what the fuck is wrong with me. THat is the basis of a day of worry for me. I worry about people, things, stuff. I want to do something about the stuff that I can. But I worry about how my hubby will react to it. I have a million things a day I worry about and then ultimately, I worry about how he will react to a situation, making the worry 100 times worse. Of course when we fight - I'm accused of not worrying about anything because I'm not constantly bitching about shit. A couple of years ago when I first started taking classes, I had to go to the ER one morning because I thought I was having a heart attack. He still doesn't know. I know it seems I'm making things hard on myself but let me assure you I have tried talking to him. He's not a particularly open-minded person.
Anyway, yes, I have become my mother after all!
