In my group of friends we had this one kid who to haze me into the circle convinced a freshmen (we were juniors) to call me a fag every time he saw me...After about a week of some random kid i didn't know calling me a fag at random, I asked him what was up, he told me, i told him that the next time i saw him if he called me a fag again i would put him inside of a trash can...Next day comes, I'm walking to lunch with the "crew" and the little guy comes along and looks at me, looks at the friend who instigated, and mumbles "ura fag"..."what?"...."u rhm uh your a fa----", i drag him down the hallway by his backback and shoved him into the first trashcan i saw, upside down...Now we are all chill as hell, the freshmen ended up becoming one of our good friends, and we all laugh about it now...
That is the closest I ever got to being bullied...

I'm a bit ashamed to say that I was a bully.
But only against the girls. I didn't know it back then, I didn't think about it, but apparently I've made more than one of them cry each day for months on end. I felt really bad about that, and I've become friends with a few them. Except for that bitch vibeke. Fuck her. |

This reminds me of that Adam Sandler movie where he calls up Steve Buscimi (sp?) to apologise for bullying him at school.. then he gets cross off the 'to murder' list. heh
At school I was never bullied nor was a bully. S'all good.. still the same. Although I do get a bit of 'shit' here for being the youngest out of my group of fiends. I'm at least 10 years younger than most of em. But at the same time I play the 'old man' card quite a lot.. so its a give what I get kinda situation. M |

Never got bullied at school, I got on with pretty much everyone. I found that weed brought together kids that would otherwise never hang out. The punk kids would happily sit and get stoned with the chavs etc

I got bullied all the time
From Gr.1 all the way to Gr.12, but I do remember this one kid that even I got to push around and fuck with, he ended up smacking me in the head with a metre stick (kid was nuts though).

I never really got bullied that I remember. I started smoking weed in beginning of junior year and I guess subconsciously told myself I have fit in; or, rather I do what the 'cool' kids do so I cant be touched. Never hour into any physical alterations ever.
The only time I remember being a real prick was in sophomore year when I told this kid, in presence of my english class, "Well then you're poor," after a pupil asked the teacher what he should do since he didn't have a computer to type up the assignment. o and I called a kid saddam since his last name is Hussein

I'd say 'yes' and to some degree it still happens from time to time... (think public transit), but it's easier to deal with now because like Komp, I have to say I feel a little pity for them because this is the only way they can get power and attention.
Secretly I think these are folks who just need more hugs and don't know how to ask. ![]() Or e-hugs in some cases *hint hint* ![]() Anger generally speaking, imo, is an external action which represents so much inward conflict; fear/loss of control come to mind... Sometimes people bully to get some of that perceived loss of power back.... And it's sad to me, because through all that 'Anger' it's hard to see how it effects the world around you.... I generally don't think bullies are genuinely 'bad' people... they are just bad at expressing their needs. Like some have said here... I've bumped into these people from school or previous interactions in public and they are different folks generally speaking from the bad encounter(s) I've had with them. Similarly, they might now know how it effects us when they bully, but perhaps it's good to have a little compassion because we don't know why the bully is the way they are either.

Thoughts this fit into the bullying thread....
Randy Bachman, from BTO and the Guess Who, That song he wrote about 'BBBBBaby!!! You ain't seen na na nothing yet'..... It was a song he wrote to make fun of his Brother's horrible stutter... Some record exec. heard it and made him record it.. Unfortunately... it was a hit. ![]() Bachman, openly admitted this on his weekly radio show here in Canada, "Randy's Vinyl Tap"

I was never really bullied I just kind of glided under the radar. I got called a fag a few times, because I always dress well. There were a few years especially in high school were i felt like i didn't real fit in anywhere, that bothered me, a little. I ate lunch one year with my sculpture teacher. There were some other kids in there I never wanted to act like i ate there because i didn't have any friends, so i just worked feverishly on a project.
