It was definately an interesting time to be alive.

I had worked in theatre for several years by that time, and people relied on me for some things. Also it seemed more important to work on my own possible talents than to go watch the skills of others. (remember...technica lly it was just another concert, until it actually became a "happening"

... Now THAT comment is hilarious!! That's like saying Larry-The-Cable-Clown is funnier than Jackie Gleason or Rodney Dangerfield...or stating that Dane Cook has a better sense-of-humor than Sam Kinison...or that Caddyshack II was better written than the original Caddyshack.
There's no substitute for any originals...& Woodstock 1969 was THE outdoor rock festival of the century...as was the 1967 Monterrey Pop Festival. Woodstock 1999 was a failure of immense proportions.

'They' still do it every year up here (Saint-Éphrem-de-Beauce).....and don't worry about anything, 'They' always have a huge 'TYLENOL' tent ...'They' have their own 'Security'....and smokables and tokables are on site!... there's no shortage of peeps who are permitted to wander from tent-to-tent with florally decorated, black suitcases with moderate amounts of...??...this'n that...for sale.

Almost sounds like I know my way 'round, eh?? I'm trying to find pics of the Tylenol tent..it's huge...and you can only imagine what goes on inside the tent!!
