Seriously, if I wanted to I could just throw the next gay guy I come across right up against a wall and give him an anal assault and he wouldn't complain one bit.

made me feel more confident in columbia. Hate that they took the words of a couple of junkies and made it into a 'huge trend' with the scopalamine powder bandits.

but other than that little thing, and errors like it, i have nothing but applause for the series.

Just watched the first few episodes of the travel guide series -- buying guns in Pakistan and dirty bombs in Bulgaria. AWESOME series.

^lol

The liberia one is mind blowing.

It's funny to me how incompetent the military is.

Like it's amazing to me that my company is profitable with all of our mistakes and incompetence, but it almost seems that we're more organized and well run than the military. That being said, I wouldn't put my life in the hands of my coworkers, I sure as hell would never join the military.

If you guys read that trip through the congo report from that other snowmayne thread about the congo, it makes watching vids about that area much cooler.

The trip report was super descriptive and well written i highly recommend it.

Africa: Interesting as fuck.

For further Africa reading I suggest the semi-autobiographical Don't Let's Go To The Dogs Tonight about the experiences of a young girl growing up in the former Rhodesia and early Zimbabwe.

And for some African historical fiction I recommend Things Fall Apart
