Who uses twitter?

WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE???

I hear about twitter almost every day. Celebrities and nobodies alike are all begging people to follow them on twitter and they actually do have followers.

What blows my mind is that I've never once seen anybody send or recieve a tweet.

So where the fuck is this happening?

I mean, hell, some countries have "revolutions" just by sending out tweets and there are some random people out there who have hundereds of followers (probably in conjunction with youtube). Is this some thing that mostly university students, hipsters and new yorkers are into? That's been what I've assumed so far because, again, I never ever ever ever see anyone IRL using twitter.

Have you? What's it like?

I made one too when it very first came out because I thought it was a blog hosting site. the idea is truely revolutionary, i was totally like "WTF is this??", but it seems like i'm just too set in my ways to get on it.

I've never been remotely interested in tweeter. Then again, I could care less what Britney Spears thinks of her perfume or when the last time she took a shit was. People really need to get a life while stop continuing to inflate these morons fragile egos.

I use it in lieu of res feeds to get current at the moment news and opinions...

Only the unskilled/ignorant blames the tool for their inability to properly use the tool....

facebook works for band updates, rss feeds, tv, etc works for my news. those are the only things i could see myself using twitter for, and i dont really need to, so i dont

i dont really understand twitter, though, so i cant really bash it. i guess im just not its market base or something. im sure theres some pretty superficial individuals on there but thats not so different from facebook

Twitter is excellent, you can find out what people are saying about events that are happening right now. News breaks on twitter before anywhere else.
