too much of television is in this same vein. even worse that discovery and science are falling down the same path as history - a la ancient aliens, or tlc, the herds of babies and dwarfs channel discovery international was good before it turned into 'body cavity full of semen' cop shows 24/7 and history international is mostly the better runoff of history, but ancient aliens and its like is making a larger and larger portion of its programming fuck ghosts, fuck aliens, fuck shows with bugs put in totally fake situations to kill one another while synced up to big cat vocalizations garbage i love the concept of television to transmit ideas, but christ....it also has the power to waste vast amounts of time that people used to use bettering themselves, practicing an instrument, a hobby-absorbing information from books, whatever television is like a lot of stuff we make. great in the right situations, in the hands of the masses though, it will be utilized for its worst /off the pulpit sorry |
