Exclamation counterfeit goods (servies)

What are some bad deals you've made in the past with people passing something off as another item? I bought five polo "By Ralph Lauren" from what the seller says Jakarta, but 3 weeks later, EMS China comes and delivers my clothing which is suppose to be worth 90+30 for shipping.

Anyway, I get them, they look legit, tags are kosher, but it felt a tad thin. The white one was somewhat translucent like a golf shirt. So, i checked the eBay guides on how to spot a fake. The tag on the collar checked out as 'good', however, when i put them to soak a bit for a first wash, they bled like crazy. Another thing with the fakes is they are definitely not pre-shrunk, worth no more than 10 bucks, and the uneven vented hem is smaller overall when comparing a similar polo that is genuine.....

Quote:
To whom this will concern:

After washing them in cool water, the dyes faded tremendously, and the seams are not the same as my Polo that I bought for $85 at Macy's. The uneven vented hem is also shorter on these than that of authentic polo's by Ralph Lauren. I compared the shirts I bought from you with a few sales people at a department store and everyone agreed that they were knock offs.

If you are going to sell shirts continuously that are clearly not authentic, I must report you to eBay. I have not done so yet as i wanted to be sure what I received.

I am requesting a full refund including shipping costs in lieu of a negative feedback.

Thank you for your time,
Regards,
I shot the guy in China an email describing the quality of the shirts, even being a month after purchase, telling him of the poor workmanship and how i know its fake. Two minutes he says "OK, no problem..I will provide you FULL REFUND including shipping.
I hope, with a full refund can treat your disappointment.

please tell me your PayPal address.
We will refund you within 24 hours"

got my 120 bucks back now and five fake polo's to rock

Nah, they all do that for the most part - they'll avoid negative feedback that'll throw off their sales at any cost. I bought a bracelet once that was supposed to be Lucky Brand. Not so much. Told the guy to give me my fuckin dollaz back yo.

i bought 4 canon LP-E8 Li-ion rechargeable batteries from china. the price in a store is about 70$ each. all 4 together with shipping cost me 24$, and they work just as good as the one that came with the camera.

I've spent thousands thru paypay/ebay with only one really bad experience.

Had a pyro supplier in the UK combine two orders (one for potassium persulphate and potassium chlorate, and another for 1 micron "airfloat" magnalium and flake titanium).

which led homeland security literally right to my door.

$4,000 in fines and loss of about $2,000 in lab quality chemicals.

shit happens.

My mom bought me a Tommy Hilfiger t-shirt when I was in 6th grade that I was pretty positive was counterfeit.

Also today I browsed a local headshop that was selling these supposed RooR bubblers for $29.99. I looked at it closely and I was pretty skeptical of it's legitimacy. It looked far too shoddy to be a genuine RooR.

in the early 90's air force one (the president of the united states' personal jet for anyone living under a rock) was found to have counterfeit parts installed.

that has to be good for some lulz.

I bought a fake rolex from a crackhead when I was in new york once., it was a decent watch and only $20.

it was obviously fake because the second hand didn't have continuous motion.

Fuck that shit...don't support that place...maybe burn it down. Always look at the joints and thickness of glass. If you've handled a real Roor you should be able to tell the difference. The dots/designs by the downstem are usually a pretty telltale sign as well as Roor is pretty consistent with their designs.
On the other hand they might be switching up some of their designs and ROOR US and ROOR DE are supposedly streamlining all of their international operations and having their tubes blown by ZOB.
Either way, your not getting anything from Roor for $30.

besides the "local merchants" in my area are malls...miles and miles away.

urban sprawl to avoid inner city taxes, those who can/could afford to move to the suburbs did/and still do.

which leaves gas stations, barber shops, drug store mini marts, and maybe a lowes or home depot.
