Need cool poster ideas

I used to have lots of posters but I don't know what happened to them all. Lately I've been looking around at my empty walls and I think I know what's missing now. I think I would like to get some cool rock posters, like Ozzy and shit, and also some fantasy type posters with wizards and mountains, black light kind, etc, I don't know what else but I need others too.

There's not much of a reason not to. They make a world of difference and they aren't expensive at all.

need ideas.

Why don't you commission something from Jonas or Turm?

If you're over thirteen than the question you need to ask is...

Who should I put on my wall...?

Adults hang art; children, posters...

Me? I hang limited edition artist signed band posters, so I can continue towing the line between...

There's a spencers right down the street. I go in there sometimes but a lot of their posters (IMO) are shit. They're all a bunch of un-funny drinking game posters, cliche bob marley weed posters and some outdated bikini babes.

i'd like something a little more collectible or rare/vintage, etc.

This is definitely a dilemma.

I was recently in church and the pastor spent his whole sermon preaching about how men today are like perpetual teenagers, playing video games, telling immature jokes and I'm sure he would have included hanging rock posters in your room, if he had thought about it. i might agree with him.

but "real" art can be needlessly expensive and frankly not all that, um, entertaining or whatever. it's all up to interpretation and shit.

Then you have three options....

Be a cliche boy...

Be me, and ultimately fail cause posing always leads to failure...

Or

Be your own fucking man and find something to put on your walls that expresses who you are...

I have a poster of Bob Marley smoking a joint and it looks awesome on psychedelics, so I recommend one of those.

if you are over 20 and not living in a student dorm its sad to have posters on the wall. at least get them framed or something that girls don't think you are living with your 12 year old brother.

if you want ideas for stuff that would look good, get a bunch of 4x6 frames and print (usually like 25cents per photo) a bunch of pics you took. i got some really good deals on printed canvases of pics i took and they look awesome.

Go to National Geographic.com they have "wallpaper" of the day. Download some of them, find a local printer and have them print it up on canvas, and Have them stretch it over a frame, they look so good, it can be a little expensive, but its worth it.
Also you can get nice frames designed just for Albums (vinyl) those look great.

Pics of you, where you've been, and with friends or family.

Posters look so much better when they are framed. I have an old James Dean Print, IMAGINE (Strawberry Fields), and The Hendrix Experience all framed and they look great.

We also started looking at artwork which is a pain in the ass to appreciate until you find something that makes you stop and look at it. Over and over again.

And then you love art in a different way.

I know a guy in his 30's that still collects comic books and action figures. A few posters on your wall is fine.

Poor as I am, I have a Kick-Ass movie poster, a Bettie Page Extatique poster, and a map of the world poster in my living room.

I also have a wool quilt hanging on the wall behind my TV, and one random piece of abstract artwork.

Oh and a quality Canadian flag.

Bottom line, if a girl ever criticized me for the shit i have hanging on my walls, she ain't my type of girl.

Well actually that's not true at all. I wouldn't mind someone criticizing my walls.

I just don't care that much about that sort of thing... classy stuff or whatever.

I like colours. The colours have to go together and that's it.
