Getting Battlefield 3?
If you're into vidyagames, what may likely be the best selling game of this year, Battlefield 3, is coming out in just a couple weeks.
So, are you or aren't you? I'm not.

I pretty much just play Halo, but I have friends that will be playing that, so I'll probably pick it up when I see it for a good price at a pawn shop.

I'm only basing my decision on my experience with the beta, which has been entirely terrible. I haven't been on a single server that wasn't laggy as all hell, and the graphics (on PS3 at least) seem no better than in Bad Company 2, which I already have.

The sole point of the beta is to test how the game servers function under load, so the whole network doesn't implode on launch date. It's not reflective of the final copy, at all. It's literally an unfinished, unpolished product, in the beta stage.

Aye.
But due to so many great games coming out, and me not exactly being wealthy, I'm using this as a shakey excuse not to buy it.

Word.
I'm buying a fucking ounce of pot for that game. It comes out right when my daughter and her mom happen to be going on a road trip. So for those two weeks, I will not be here. I will be in Skyrim. And I will not be Sir-Ex. I will be Zyin of the Firegrass Clan.

I rarely play games. In the last year, only Fallout NV has interested me.
If I had the power cord, I'd play N64 more then my xbox. |

Definitely waiting to get Skyrim and just like SirEx said, I'll take the money I would put into another game and just buy copious amounts of grass.
Requested 11/11-11/15 off for "medical" reasons at work. I'd rather take more off, but I need the money.

I've been enjoying the PS3 beta, I've rarely experienced any issues other than a few bugs that can be exploited but I've had an enjoyable time. About to order my video card, and will be buying the day it releases for PC.

The previous game was one of my favorites so I'll play it and I'll probably spend the money on it. My first impression from the 13 minutes of gameplay thread made me think it looked very much like CoD:MW2 which is good and bad.

Either way no one should be judging the game from an old beta which is basically a bug/stress test, with probably the crappiest map the game is shipped with.

The PC master race got Caspian Border on Friday, jets mofo! But yeah, Metro sucks balls, I dunno why they decided to use that for the beta. Caspian's epic though, despite the typical beta issues it suffers.
