No memory is too small.

Who was hot?

Who was doing what?

What was popular?

How was the modship?

How did this place look?

Any amusing anecdotes or controversies.

i remember when i used to lurk back in hischool there was ALOT more flaming and back n forth arguing going on. also i think everyone, or the majority of really active posters, were doing more hard drugs than we all do today.

ive always had a small soft spot for porcelain, i thought she was pretty when she was around.

also i remember people talking shit on the mods alot too. alot of banhammer talk and such.

some dude was doing weird shit to his dick, i cant remember his name though

^I think that's definitely true. My first account was in 04 and I lurked for a long time and I definitely think 04-05 was arguabley the heyday of this place...

but i wonder what this place was like in 99-00.... i bet the membership numbers were really small but i imagine they got the ball rolling based on a solid interested in marijuana and not so much all this Free For All nonsense. just a guess.

all you have to do is look at the membership list to know there wasn't a whole lot going on in 99-2000.

shit was pretty funny back in like 04-05 for sure
then again maybe it's like pro wrestling back in 1992 - seemed badass then but when I look up old videos now it wasn't THAT great.

^There were a lot of big names from that time though. Debaser, GHM, Godska, Lions&christians, supermarket, etc... those guys pwned the boards pretty good in their time. actually i secretly kind of feel like those dudes are going to come back and take over again someday, like they're all on hiatus. realistically though they're probably finished.

when i first FIRST stumbled on this place, JamCruiser (posting under a different name I can't remember) was posting a crazy amount of pics, seemed like dozens, of him smoking blunts. ALWAYS smoking blunts. that's all i needed to see to make me want to join. that was it.

In the past this place was like anywhere on the internet was, free, wild and you had to have some fortitude to 'hang' with the big 'kids', discussion tended to be scattered but concise as long as tazz wasn't posting

....

It also had a really rudimentary forum set up like 4chan, you could post anon if I remember correctly and you could change your name on a whim from post to post, I also remember post whoring used to be a huge deal and zero was all over that shit.....

I'm a new posts guy so the aesthetics of the place don't hold a strong place in my memories, but activism and politics(lurker), gtgh, ffa, the music forum, were my hangouts...
