well scrimp gravy kind of makes sense, a lot of people just use gravy to mean any sauce, and as it goes on shrimp, it is shrimp sauce. its like how some (weird) people say coke to refer to any soda. sounds odd, but whatever

i used to work in a really high end fine dining restaurant with a prix fixe menu

one time there was squab on the menu, it looked similar to this

so one customer says, "If i had known I'd get a dead bird on my plate i wouldn't have ordered it." lol

one time a customer claimed they were "allergic to salt"
