- when you buy a new game, find you can only play it on medium graphic settings; purchase a new video card, only to have a plethora of random issues stemming from new hardware rendering your computer inoperable for weeks.

- THEN; coming back to yahooka after computer issues are resolved, only to see some racist idiot kid vying for popularity via posting stupid "shocking" shit. and he's getting attention. fueling the fire.

- then as i typed this out -- wouldn't it be funny if we, as a community, excommunicated this guy, like, totally not-banned-him-but-no-one-acknowledges-his-existance-so-he-might-as-well-be-banned-and-maybe-he-will-fuck-off kind of deal? that would be a cool thing. but who am i, really.

oh and my issues were resolved after i downloaded all of the directx. not just 11 but 9-11. file that because it might come in handy one day. it was a frustrating experience.

graphics cards can be a bitch to set up...goddamn drivers, directx, physx. You'll totally feel like a boss playing video games with all the settings maxed out though.

funny cuz i had this exact same problem, got a new computer with intel hd graphics , which i should have known would be fucking useless... bought gta 4 on steam, and it wouldnt even start like 10 times then it finally started and i saw like 6 polygons and it said your system has like 34 out of 600 required to run this...

at least since it was on steam i can play it someday when i get a computer thats not a piece of shit

lol of course. many times. it was directx. that was what solved it. my games auto installed 11, but it seems the lack of 9-10 caused my shit to fuck up.
