we're big kids; i think the thread would have resolved itself pretty clearly that dude was being a tard and the south, though having drawbacks like any other region, isn't such a bad place all things said and done.

did seem a bit quick on the trigger with watching out for our precious feelings. the sentiment is appreciated, i'm sure by someone, but a lot of people (myself included, i think) feel like letting those kind of discussions, and like the one with the dude who manages red lobster, run their course, shows us as a community of relatively like minded individuals with a high enough moral standard to joke around with niggers and spics, but draw the line on serious ignorance.

There's a time and a place for moderation. Dude's putting one word replies all over the forum? sure thing.

But dudes showing their asses and getting called out on it is part of yahooka. I thing a better chance for education and discussion is lost when we jump too soon on closing threads/deleting posts that may be offensive to some people.

But that's just how i feel.
