Fuck the police.... ? Iono?

How do you feel about the pigs?

Are they mindless pawns of oppression or do they really help protect society?

What about as people, do you respect a person for taking the job?

It attracts dicks by the nature of the work- being an authority figure. Lots of people with authority issues go into policework. Theres some cool ones but the majority of them are insufferable pricks. As far as whether i hate them as people or not, of course i hate the dick ones. The cool ones are cool.

I've had my share of bad and good experiences w/ law enforcement. I think the fuzz are generally good as people just misinformed on some things. They are definitely pawns for the people who make $$ of the court system and jails. I respect them for taking the job knowing they could very well die performing it but also don't get why they would do it for such a small paycheck. I wouldn't so maybe that makes them less $$ controlled and a better person than I am.

So is it the right thing to do to follow police orders?

I support police brutality on every level. If you fuck around, you deserve to get your ass beaten up. We need law and order in this world. It's not hard to cooperate with them. Drug laws suck, but they don't make the laws.

Imagine their job. Some people attack, swing, bite, shoot them, and if you show resistance, how are they to know you aren't going to do that? Even if you're just being a whiny bitch that thinks your arrest is unjust, they don't know. Just put your hands on the hood and say, "I'm not saying anything until I talk to a lawyer".

What if you don't fuck around? Do you think the police are justified in arresting and interrogating perfectly cooperative and passive people, as part of their job?

Of course not. All the more reason to cooperate so the judge will sympathize with you.

Well you said you support police brutality on every level.

Theoretically the police could go around kicking the shit out of random people, just to show the citizens who has the power. Lots of older Asian governments had a police force like that.

I support an intimidating police force. An intelligent, but untrusting and tough cop is the most effective kind. I don't like seeing OWS protestors for example get thrown down, but we're not seeing what happens before. 99% of the time, they are disobeying orders.

Job security. Same reason people join the military, and cops don't go home after 4 years and continue to get a paycheck for life and get pity for PTSD.

Doesnt matter that they dont make the laws, they chose with their own free will to sign up and enforce them.

The job in its nature attracts arseholes. Usually ex bully victims with small cocks that want to take their anger out on members of the public.

I've met a lot of cops, and they come in all kinds. However, the bully mentality runs through the cop culture. One guy I knew was very down to earth and cool, but still told stories like "the one time me and another cop had a 'bullshit ticket' contest" etc. A friend of mine, who had been a fairly gentle soul, became a corrections deputy and within a year was telling us "funny stories" about humiliating prisoners.

They can have all the screening and psych tests they want, but they will never get that element out of the culture. In the words of one cop I knew, "Police work is the most behavior modifying activity you could ever engage in"

I have some very close friends that are cops, and all of my dads friends are cops, of course there are some real cocky assholes, but it seems like there just as many cocky contractors or plumbers or whatever.
