so im from upstate and i was with a couple friends and we were about to look at an apartment we had found on craigslist. we had twenty minutes to burn so we see a park and go to chief down a bowl. we walk out of the park and are rushed by two unmarked cop cars, 6 cops jump out and then another car pulls up with 2 more officers in it. the cuff us right away and tell us we were smoking marijuana and they will tell us what is going on once we get back to the house. they start searching us and find the weed right away. next the find subs and xanies in my friends bag which he is scripted.

they take us back to the big house and start to question us all while calling us snowflake and cracker. then we are lead into a holding cell. it is roughly 10 by 6 feet. the holding sell is empty when we get there being roughly noon. about twenty minutes later Smith gets brought in. he got caught smoking a stem while walking down the steet. he had beeen up for three days walking. He told his story and passed out until they had to finger/whole hand print him 4 hours later. he is sleepin in the puke corner of the cell as aposed to the shit corner of it. next comes in Smith's uncle who got caught with dope. he starts nodding out and curls up on smith. then we have james brooks who pops in bitching about how they brough him in for steling scrap. He tells anyone who will listen how innocent he is. (later he reveals that there was a city water meter in the bag of scrap he had straped to his back) then comes in a rasta. he had his door rushed and the cops brought him in cuz they found a blunt after searching his whole house.

Then he had Crookshanks who was arrested for selling and possesing dope. "HOw you gunna stick me a with a sell man...Possession ya, but a sell?" he had just came home 7days earlier after doing 9 years. when his arresting officer comes into to do the paper work he plead his innocence. he then telll the cop "You are doing a an injustice the black american! You hate the black americans. You arent from around here are you ? Fucking bitch." cop "what did you say." Crookshanks "bitch you heard me, fill out that paper work". after sitting in the cell for 12 hours my friends got released because they got DAT's or some bullshit. i had to stay cuz i was on probation. The cops brought in my shit for my friends to take with them so i didnt have to pick htem up after central booking. so i see that my friends shit is in my bag so i grab a sub and some zannies quick. the cops ended up taking 100 dollars from me half my friends zan script and 2 subs.

James brooks starts complaining we hadnt eatn yet or been givin water. the cops tell us food is on the way over and over. the food never came nor the water. it was just a way for them to build up hope just for it to be crushed when it never happened. i got shipped out of the holding cell to central booking after 16 hours in a holding cell covered in shit vomit and yearn. with no water and no food. the bus takes us to centreal booking and i am the only white person there out of 100's. i got thrown in a new cell and this is when shit starts gettn real dodgy. i was thrashed with slurs almost instantly. But right away a big black guy starts to talk to me. he was in for dealing dope. he had 9 bundles in a stash pocket in his shoe. he told me he would protect me if i brought his friend a bundle in the bushwick housing project when i got out. so i said yes. because at that point i was seriously fearing death. the holding cell was like a Four seasons compared to central booking.

food finally came after being in a cell for 24 hours. i got 4 pieces of breAD with maybe a tablespoon of pb on each piece. rotten fruit and warm milk. a rasta guy in the corner rolled up a joint. idk how he got the bud in. but he stated charging people either 2 phone calls or 5 bucks a hit. we stated baking out the cell with aa court room 3 feet away. the cop comes over and says he could watch the camera and slap every one who smoked witha nother violation but he doesnt feel like doing the paper work. so he just not to bake the cell out to much. so the rasta is like shit man we put it right out. brooks stats getting real dope sick so i buy him a bag of dope for 10 bucks. i wanted to buy like 4 bags of dope and just say fuck it but i was on subs and aint done dope in like 2 months. i did end up buying coke from another nigga that got it from a cop. it was 40 a g. and damngood. i then bought a zanie bar for 5 dollars to sleep with my head against the bars. there were subs for 8 bucks as well. Saw a cop sell a playboy for 25. some nigga musta been real high up cuz he had cellular in jail. the dope the guy had apparantley had been fire because anyone who did a bag ended up in the hospital from passing out. 5 people went to the hospital.

the rasta went to see the judge. he thought he was going to go home but got shipped off to the island. he rolled another the joint and passed it around. the cop came back but only to offer us cigs for 5 bucks a pop. who would of thought cigs would be the most expensive thing?

Finally, i go in to see the judge and get a day of community serive for the mj charge. so after being held up for near 42 hours for smoking weed in a park i get let go. and go deliver the bundle to the projects for my protection. the snowflake didnt melt. lulz.

I am having serious revelations on how different brooklyn is from yuppie cooperstown new york. cultral shock. I am walking away with a better understanding of how important it is to have a bed to lay in as opposed to a shit coverd floor. although a cop did give me part of a card board box for a pillow as to not get my head shitty. I now retain the ability to sleep anywhere. got on the grey hound bus to albany.

I wish my jail experience had that many drugs. all the people here just talked about crack. closest i came to drugs in jail was the thorazine my buddy let me have to help me sleep, and the crack rock i could have eaten with a dude who smuggled it in in the folds of his crotch/belly.

Had court the other day for my DAT. The judge brought four different people up that all got charged with criminal possession of MJ( Class B Mis) Gave us all ACOD's and let us go. NO fine. Just gota keeep my nose clean for 12 months

I've been booked in 4 different counties ranging from major cities to podunk towns and never had a single thing left in my pockets or on my person besides clothes, shoes, and sometimes shoe strings. I don't see Brooklyn being a place to let you hold onto your possessions, possessions that can cause a whole host of problems for the officers.

It's totally plausible. I was booked into Jeffco a few years back. When I was given my pumpkin orange, I had plenty of privacy when I changed, and was not sufficiently searched by the arresting Officer.

Had I brought anything with me, I could of easily concealed it.

When I was locked up in Cali a filthy homeless man was taken in and I guess they didn't want to search his dirty drawers because he managed to sneak in a pint of Popov vodka.

He drank it in like 5 minutes too.

Also he peed all over the floor and was the only other white person there besides me, everyone hated him.
