Like a Bud?
Or an Ass?  nah.... I guess I do..... but I'd say that 'knowledge of self' started seeping in around 25 and has just become stronger. Getting 'knocked down' in Toronto also helped me develop that sense of self in different ways... As I've aged I think I've started seeing the balance between having serious pursuits and knowing how much to spin my tires on other things, know what I mean?
