Cooking and beer go hand in hand. Probably going to rock steak and crab tonight with roasted potatoes & carrots. Sadly, the steak will be pan seared then ovened rather than the done on the grill. Damn snow.

I'm a great cook.

I can prepare any dish requested as long as I have the ingredients and proper equipment (or a suitable substitute).

I have my own recipes for a lot of thing.

I use a chef's knife, not a machine for chopping and shit.

ive fucked a few dames in the kitchen.

but seriously, if you want the best thing youve ever tasted this is what you do.

make a maple pecan pancake.
put cheese curd and truffle oil mashed potatoes on top.
put seared foie gras on top of that.
put pork belly on top of that.

cover it in a pecan/maple whisky sauce.

BADAFUCKINBOOm, best thing youve ever tasted.

Lately it has mostly been stuff out of a box. I'm lazy. But the other night I made pork tenderloin hammered flat with a tenderizer, rolled around cheese and herbs and whatnot, breaded and fried. and I'm making chili tonight.

I've been experimenting with jerk techniques. I'm pretty good with it now. give me any meat and I can jerk it.

I've been doin a bunch of jerk stuff lately too. I've finally perfected my jerk chicken which I stand by as one of the best, most satisfying munchie foods known to man. I usually serve it with fresh, fruit salsa(i.e. pineapple or mango generally).

I've been experimenting with a lot of other spicy stuff too in the vein of szechuan and thai sort of stuff. I've been getting really good at finding that perfect spice balance you find in szechuan cooking where it's soooo hot but satisfying and addictive at the same time and your mouth is on fire but your body just wants more. Yeah. That's the good stuff.

I can make like spaghetti or tacos.... easy stuff. My problem is I hate grocery shopping and I lack food foresight, so I never have the ingredients to make anything. Also, I don't have a spatula, whisk, or most other cooking equipment.

I was shocked when I found out this thread was about cooking after I read the title. I was about to start talking about some of my favorite little escapades in the kitchen but I'll save that for another time.
