First, I've never heard that your hair continues to be dirty as long as your urine is dirty. It may be but it may not. I think not because hair does not collect the "dirt" as readily as urine. The "dirt" stays in your fat cells and is slowly released into your urine at levels that can be easily detected in urine but not in hair.
One thing I do know is true is that hair testing is the absolute worst way to test for pot use. If you have used opiates or cocaine you might as well give up but for pot there is only one company, Psychometrics Inc., that does a decent job of catching pot smokers. They have the patent on the process that they use and they are the only company that use the method. They are very expensive. The company that I worked for used Psychometrics and fired a good number of people for pot use. Then they switched to a different testing company to save money and never caught another pot smoker. I smoked every day for 4 months straight, got called in for a random test and passed.
One more thing, while there is no shampoo that can completely remove everything from your hair, I would recommend trying a good chelating shampoo. Chelating shampoos remove minerals and pollutants from your hair because those things may interfere with hair colorings and some people have reported good luck with them helping to pass a hair test. Hair testing has to operate in a narrow range, which means that a small amount of "dirt" has to be ignored to avoid false positives. Hair does not absorb large amounts of "dirt" so many smokers are able to pass, as I did. Using chelating shampoo may increase the chance of slipping by.

I did get the interview and it is in the next week. I did cut my hair so now it's about half an inch so they would definitely be taking it from somewhere else like my arm pits or leg I'm guessing.

I think my only option at this point is to order my own "at home" hair test before the interview.

Like I said, I've only been clean for about 2 and a half months now. So I'm just assuming the worst that I only have a month of clean hair. I've read some academic studies saying metabolites circulate your blood stream for up to 28 days maximum. I wasn't smoking very heavily when I quite so it's possible I actually have two months of clean hair..

I still think my arm pit and leg hair grows a hell of a lot slower though. So yeah just going to do my own test and see if I can pass.

I guess I didn't clarify that's exactly what I meant but it is. So either you didn't read that part or you're too slow to make that connection.

Which is why if I do my own drug test I will be collecting hair from multiple locations on my body.

I'm pretty sure my best bet is just to wait a couple months and then try again. I was actually contacted about a new job in Washington too. Looks like I'm a pretty hot prospect. So unless they slow down hiring in the next 4 months I will be able to get another interview then for sure. But right now it seems like they are hiring quite a bit, which wasn't the case in the last year. They were actually laying people off. Which is now why I want to get in, but shit, just bad timing. Should have stopped smoking like a month earlier.

I recall I said I won't be around much anymore or for very long since I'm not in high school anymore and sit around smoking weed all the time. But I never said I was going to willfully leave at any point.
